Introduction

The Château

- To the south of the château lies the 11 hectare park with tree-lined cavalier avenue along which to stroll in the shade, rose gardens, lawns and an ancient canal bed, now dry, built originally to power the mill, later used to irrigate the gardens and supply water for the fountains.

 

 

- On the north side is the interior courtyard, enclosed by the buildings, the garage, and parking area.

 

 

Sports and Activities

- On the premises; tennis, swimming in the shallow river Ariege, croquet, table-tennis, table football.

- In Bonnac: Post Office, café, mobile baker at midday each day, including Sundays.
- In Pamiers:( 3 to 4 kilometres), 2 commercial centres, ( Intermarché, Carrefour, LeaderPrice, Picard Surgelés, M. Bricolage etc.) and in the town centre all local shops and amenities, numerous cafés and restaurants.
